Hi Mach -san, thanks for commenting on my doodles in Artist's Alley XD
I've been looking around for that manhwa you mentioned, can't find it though. I guess I'll try harder.

Why haven't you made any walls yet? 0_0 your work is awesome!

I say leave him alone... i see no point in commenting someone who gives their time for others.. as i see it he may have some strict critizing but i know who really is strict... hes helping you guys.. just try to improve and take critics more like guides for you, dont take everything seriously...

anyway it may sound weird for me to be yapping here, so yo nice to meet you ^_^

You don't know me as an artist until I've critique

I'm well aware of that. For some, there's really nothing I could say to help them improve because either I think they're doing the right thing or I don't know what to say to improve since I'm still learning myself.

I'm just saying that be more polite in the way you say it because everyone respects someone who always gives advice and constructive criticism, but it gets annoying if that person is rude in the way he/she says it.

Sup Machdude! I do appreciate your comments, but in the future could you lay off or tone it down.

Have you read my criticism on others' work? I'm just like you in pointing out everything I think is wrong, but I remain positive about it and I always give advice on how to improve or avoid making those mistakes because isn't the point of critism improvement? Yes, you're helping us by making us fully aware of our mistakes, but like Luna said, the way you do it is kind of tactless because it makes it seem like you're superior to us.

I know I draw well, but I don't act like I'm the best or better than others because I know I'm not the greatest artist out there. In fact, my freehand kind of sucks. I'm very limited when it comes to my freehand. All my work that you see me post, I've used references because I know I'm not that good yet.

I actually went on your profile because I was really interested in seeing your work. Drawing all my life, and taking it seriously for nearly eight years, I've gained enough experience to when I can point out places where people can improve on, that's why I criticize others' works.

Also, like hagane said, I draw for fun and also to improve. I'll also draw to get an idea out of my head or for a special gift for someone, and it's kind of irritating to post up something that you had fun doing and that you're proud of and have it trashed by someone.

You should always give criticism because it's necessary for anyone who draws, but make sure it's polite and construction.

I´ve been reading your comments and I agree with luna, there´s a pattern in all your comments and I can see that you always can find a nagative side in the things we do, let me tell you something, we are doing our best effort and you know what? I do fanart for fun, to relax, I´m not doing it for people pray me, I´m doing it because i like it. I will like to see one of your works, so I can see how good you are because the way you talk to everyone makes me think that you have masterpieces on your notebook, see ya

Hello...

Why do you tend to talk down to people when you comment on their art? No matter what level of skill you have, you shouldn't talk to others that way. Having said that, I'd still like to see your art. You probably can care less for what people think of you and you're not here for respect, but it's not the fact that you're pointing out mistakes that's bothering me, it's the fact that you make it seem like we're all lower than you. There are more tactful ways to criticize. I can't imagine that you would go around talking to strangers like that in real life... if you do, then you're pretty lucky if you have friends...

Also, you seem to criticize styles. You can't say a style is bad just because you prefer more humnalike drawings. One of anime's big features is its inhumaness. There can't be that original of a style out there when people have been drawing for decades. A lot of people still like the awkward styles. Also, chenchen184's art resembles a whole bunch of other shoujos before it resembles CLAMP's. And if they want to draw freakishly long limbs, that's their intended style, you can't say it's incorrect.
